Welcome to Flight Simulator 9

Flight Simulator 9 is a new Flight Simulator Community covering every flight simulator from 2002 to Flight simulator X.

We at Fs9 have felt over the entire lifetime of the Flight Simulator releases that the Flight Simulator world has lacked something and we firmly believe a helpful, realistic and professional Flight Simulator Community is something that we and many others have been searching for!

Currently we are recruiting staff members to help us with the development of Fs9 from Forum Moderators to Panel Designers, Aircraft Painters to Flight Instructors.

Anyone with a passion for Flight and Flight Simulation will benefit from the various services we make available with Fs9 including 24/7 Flight Servers, 24/7 Teamspeak Servers, a Free File Repository containing Aircraft, AI, Helicopter, Misc Files, Panels, Repaints, Scenery, Sounds and Utilities as well as much more.

admin writes:
For those of you that use FS Passengers to track your flights (and also for those who don''t but would like to), we have setup the FS Passengers Virtual Airline script.

This script allows users of FS Passengers to export their flight data to the Flight Simulator 9 web site for all to see.

You can see it in action here:

http://www.fs9.co.uk/modules.php?name=FS_Passengers

If you wish to export your flight data we will need to add you to the FS Passengers Database.

You can register by filling out the form located here.

We will be releasing a tutorial on how to set this up shortly so watch this space.

As always if you run into any problems and need further help setting up just ask.

Regards

Tony

Why they are called RyanSCARE!!
Posted by: Cambo on Tuesday, January 05 @ 17:45:52 CST [69 reads]
Cambo writes:
Six crew and 116 passengers used emergency chutes to leave the Ryanair flight to Agadir, Morocco, which returned to Liverpool, at 1600 GMT.

A warning light had activated but engineers have checked the aircraft and confirmed there was no fire.

The airport was closed for about an hour. No-one was injured.

The scare happened shortly after flight FR4021 took off.

A spokesman for Merseyside Police said fire crews were searching the plane for any signs of a fire with thermal imaging equipment.

A replacement aircraft will take the passengers to Agadir and is scheduled to leave at 1830 GMT.

A spokesman for the Ryanair said: "A faulty indicator light is the suspected cause of this turn-back.

He added: "Ryanair apologises for any inconvenience, but the safety of our passengers and crew will always be the number one priority."
